Litter Aware is about mindfulness.

We do not believe that most people intend to cause harm when litter is left in the park, dropped on the streets, forgotten at the beach, or flicked into the air. Some, however, believe they are job creators by dropping trash on the street. Others are desensitized to the ugliness of litter. Many take comfort in living in areas that are kept clean. The truth is, Litter Has No Zip Code. It all winds up in our common waterways and ocean. Plastic bags break down into microbeads that fish eat and we in turn eat the fish. A plastic bag, like that found at supermarkets and convenience stores, is made of high density polyethylene (HDPE). What recipe do you know of that calls for HDPE?
